This was a PSA that had Joe Buck, Tim McCarver , and Kara DioGuardi From American Idol Seasons 6 and 7.
Kara was unable to be at the shoot with Joe and Tim due to her schedule on american Idol so the Producers shot everyone on Green Screen and I Edited the piece and did the compositing all in Smoke.
The two green videos are the two seperat shots edited together along with the final composite.
For these Vegas.com sopts which ran nationaly I was hired to create the closeing bump which is of there new "Insider card"
I completed the project entirely in flame with a photoshop assistant that prepped some graphics for me
I've Included the final Aired Spots to the right.
I was the Flame artist and the Smoke Colorist on this spot.
They shot some of the phones with green screen they shot some without a screen and still others where on but they then wanted to change out the screen graphics in post.
Besides the composites I graded the whole spot and also had to blur certain BG elements that the production company didn't have the rights to film.
I did flame work on this Feature Film. I had also Graded the entire film in Apple Color
The two shots to the right are before and after. In the first shot the main character gets shot in the head. The director originally tried to accomplish this with a light flash on set but because they addded a prosthetic bullet wound in the next scene he decided he wanted to see the impact.
The second shot was a tv screen replacement that the director had planned on it being a post shot.
